A vessel
of special construction designed for combat training of warships and combat aircrafts.
It is a steel uninhabited catamaran vessel. Vertical masts with a net between
them are installed on the deck. On the tops of the masts, special corner radar
reflectors are installed, which significantly increase radar visibility, and allow
the use of anti-ship missiles on them, as well as the use of naval artillery firing
radars. The registration of the effectiveness of hits is recorded by net breaks
between the masts, as well as high-speed film and photo equipment (recently -
video equipment). The use of a target barges is possible both as a fixed target
and on the move (in tow). Target Barge MKSch-44 commissioned on 1974 and
was assigned to the Black Sea Fleet. Now in service. Specifications |
