A
vessel of special construction is designed to collect oil products, all types
of garbage and floating objects from the surface of the water in ports and harbours.
With the help of the propulsion system, the vessel is highly maneuverable, which
allows the vessel to perform this work in the most inaccessible places of the
berths, etc. The vessel of project 25505 is a single-deck vessel with a
welded hull, simplified contours, with a raised deck in the bow, with an engine
room and a wheelhouse located in the aft, with an inclined bow and an elliptical
stern, with a minimum freeboard. The autonomy of navigation in terms of fuel and
water is five days. Operating conditions - with sea waves not more than 3 points
and wind power not more than 4 points. Oil Skimmer MUS-529 laid down at
Azov Shipyard, commissioned on 1992 and was assigned to the Black Sea Fleet. The
vessel was commissioned in 2013, and scrapped in May 2020. Specifications |
