A vessel
of special construction is designed to collect oil products, all types of garbage
and floating objects from the surface of the water in ports and harbours. The
width of the contaminated surface is regulated by guiding shields serving and
closing the receiving opening. With the help of the propulsion system, the vessel
is highly maneuverable, which allows the vessel to perform this work in the most
inaccessible places of the berths, etc. Oil Skimmer MUS-760 laid down at
Azov Shipyard, commissioned on 1972 and was assigned to the Black Sea Fleet. The
vessel was commissioned in 2018, and scrapped in 2019. Specifications |
