A vessel of special construction ordered by the USSR. The purpose of the
vessel is the repair of ships and vessels, their technical equipment in the harbour
or unequipped area of the coast. It has crane equipment and several workshops-compartments
for the repair of ship equipment. In total, only two vessels were built for the
Navy under this project - one for the Northern Fleet, and one for the Black Sea
Fleet. Civil Non-Self-Propelled Floating Workshop PM-430 laid down at Boizenburger
Werft, Boizenburg, GDR (yard No.3365), completed in 1976. Commissioned to
Blacks Sea Fleet in 1987 as PMR-183. Currently, the vessel is used for its
intended purpose, it belongs to the 91st Ship Repair Plant of the Black Sea Fleet
of the Russian Federation, based on Streletskaya Bay, Sevastopol. Now in
