A vessel of special construction ordered by the Navy of the USSR in Shipyard
Brodosplit, Yugoslavia. The main purpose of the vessel is painting works of large
volumes of warships and vessels afloat. In total, 12 vessels of this project were
ordered and received. Floating painting stations of this project served on all
fleets of the USSR and later - the Russian Federation. Floating painting
station PPKS-15 laid down at Brodogradiliste (Split, Yugoslavia) (yard No.560),
