Project
of a small harbor tug. The harbor tug of Project 498 is intended for towing and
berthing operations in harbor, off-harbour and coastal areas, oil spill response
activities, assisting operations in ports. Tugs of this project served on all
fleets of the USSR and later - the Russian Federation. Harbor tug RB-498
laid down at the Gorokhovets Shipyard (yard No.566), 20 June 1974 commissioned. 01
August 1997 the tugboat was transferred to the Ukrainian Naval Forces with rename
