The testing vessel is designed to test samples of torpedos and unmanned
vehicles for the Russian Navy. Project 20360OS is a reworked version of the unsuccessful
vessel of Project 20360 (code Dubnyak), originally listed as a floating crane
loader of discharge cargo. Testing vessel Victor Cherokov laid down on
2007 at Okskaya Sudoverf, Navashino (yard No.1802), launched 2016, completed by
Volga Shipbuilding Plant OJSC, Nizhny Novgorod and commissioned on 19 July 2016. Now
