Small seagoing tankers (Projects 1844, 1844D, 1844M) and small water tankers
(projects 1844V and 18444), designed to supply fuel oil, diesel fuel, engine oil
and water to the ships and submarines of the fleet in ports, on raids and at sea.
It is a single-deck, one-shaft, diesel vessel with smooth contours, cruising
stern and excess freeboard. Wheelhouse, cabins, engine and pumps are located in
the stern of the vessel. In the middle part of the hull there is a cargo compartment,
divided by one transverse and one longitudinal bulkhead into four tanks, with
a total capacity of 606 cubic meters. In the bow of the tanker there is a hold
for the transport of five tons of dry cargo. The maximum length of the ship
is 53,8 m, the maximum width 9,7 m and draft 3,4 m. When in standard load, the
ship has displacement about 539 tons and 1,127 tons while fully loaded. Endurance
of the ships is 10 days during which they can travel the distance about 1,500
nm. Capacity - fuel tank for 500 t. The main power plant, located in the stern
of the vessel, consists of the main diesel engine 6DR30/50-5-3, with a rated power
of 600 hp at 300 rpm, with drive on one shaft. Small Seagoing Tanker VTN-96
laid down at Kherson Shipyard (yard No.103), commissioned on 1982 and was assigned
to the Black Sea Fleet. Now in service. Specifications |
