The
Flamingo class, Russian designation Project PV1415, is a class of anti-saboteur
and guard boats being built for the Soviet Navy. The class is designed to combat
sabotage and terrorist forces and means in the waters off bases and near the approaches
to them, as well as to assist the Coast Guard in solving the problems of preservation
and protection of the state border. This Project is a version of the standart
multi-functional soviet motor boat of the Project 1415. Anti-saboteur boat
P-99 laid down at Sosnovka Shipyard (yard No.831), commissioned in 1982 and was
assigned to the Black Sea Fleet. In 1997 the boat was transferred to the
Ukrainian Naval Forces, with rename to Feodosiya (U240). In March 2014,
the flag of the Ukrainian Navy was lowered on the boat, and the flag of the Russian
