A series
of civilian large passenger boats, Project 1430, of the Alexander Green type,
began to be built in Kherson, Illichivsk and Baku in 1970 (designer - ChTsPKB).
The most successful series of passenger boats, combining great capacity, speed
and comfort (especially after the glazing of the middle cabin), was operated in
all sea basins of the USSR, rivers and lakes. In total, more than 70 boats were
built under this project; several boats of this type were also used in to the
Navy. Seagoing Boat MK-139 laid down at Ilyichevsk Shipyard (yard No.63),
commissioned on 1977. On 31 July 1992 was reclassified to a passenger boat
with rename to PSK-139. Now in service. Specifications |
