For
ordinary operations in areas of the seas with shallow depths, diving vessels and
boats of various displacement were used in the Navy of the USSR. Project 376 were
a large series of boats that were built for the Soviet navy as well as civilian
users starting in 1955 and are in use up to this day on the rivers and harbors
for Russia. Passengers boats, diving boats, coast guard boats and gunboats of
this project served on all fleets of the USSR and later - the Russian Federation.
In total, more than 600 boats of this type were built. Diving boat VRD-516
commissioned on 1960 at Yaroslavl Shipyard and was assigned to the Black Sea Fleet
Fleet. In 1977 the diving boat was renamed to RVK-516. Then reclassified
to the harbour boaat with rename to RK-516. Now in service. Specifications |
