For
ordinary operations in areas of the seas with shallow depths, diving vessels of
various displacement were used in the Navy of the USSR. The diving vessel of Project
522 are equipped with 1 diving complex for depth max 60 meter with pressure chamber.
Diving vessels of this project served on all fleets of the USSR and later - the
Russian Federation. In total, more than 130 vessels of this type were built for
the Navy. Seagoing Diving Vessel VM-114 laid down at the Shipyard No.370
Petrozavod, Leningrad (yard No.388), commissioned in 1960 and was assigned to
the Black Sea Fleet Fleet. In 1997 transferred to Ukrainian Naval Forces
with rename to Brody. From 2002 - Alchevsk, from 2004 - Volnogorsk (U707). Specifications |
